A Curious Cabinet

An art exhibition inspired by a collection of hand written letters penned by a late nineteenth century Queensland grazier, Will Henry, (1876 – 1907) while he lived and worked on Queensland cattle properties Bellenden Plains, Glenora, (FNQ) and Tinnenburra (SWQ). Will died of typhoid in 1907 at the age of 30.

The exhibition focused on cultural aspects that are mentioned in 74 hand written letters and uses objects, words and imagery, as a means to reflect the way in which society presents, or projects itself, by providing points of connection, intrigue and interest.
